  Born and raised in South Florida, Eric graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Business in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Following graduation, he moved to New York City, where he has lived since.

With a deep and enduring passion for the arts, fashion, culture, and philanthropy, Eric is actively engaged with many of the country’s most distinguished cultural institutions and charitable organizations. His involvement includes The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Frick Collection, The Center, Save Venice, the Whitney Museum , Aspen Art Museum, Southampton Arts Center, and the Hope for Depression Research Foundation, among others. Through these commitments, he has cultivated a meaningful presence within the cultural and philanthropic communities of New York, the Hamptons, Palm Beach, and Aspen.

Eric is also a contributor to Spotlight Magazine, where he chronicles the worlds of society, arts, culture, and philanthropy across New York City, the Hamptons, and Palm Beach. His work highlights the people, institutions, and events shaping the cultural and social landscapes of these communities.

Professionally, Eric has built his career at the intersection of luxury, fashion, marketing, and client experience. For several years, he led marketing for the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship in New York City, working at the center of one of the world’s most iconic luxury retail institutions. Today, he works as a consultant across the luxury sector, advising businesses and brands across categories on strategic marketing, brand positioning, business development, and growth. Drawing on this experience, he works closely with organizations to sharpen their positioning, elevate their market presence, strengthen client engagement, and identify opportunities for sustained and meaningful growth.

Philanthropy has long been central to Eric’s life. He plays an active role in his family’s nonprofit organization, Viner Scholars, founded in 2015 by his parents, Eda and Cliff Viner. Dedicated to expanding access to higher education, Viner Scholars provides scholarships and ongoing support to deserving students in South Palm Beach County, helping them pursue four-year degrees at Florida public universities.

Eric’s Jewish faith and heritage are also an important part of his life, informing his connection to community, tradition, and philanthropy. This connection has deep roots in his family: his father, Cliff Viner, served as president of B’nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton and played a role in helping build the synagogue in the 1980s. Cliff was also an owner of the Florida Panthers hockey franchise, further reflecting the family’s longstanding ties to South Florida and its civic community. 

In New York, Eric continues that commitment to Jewish life as a member of Central Synagogue, one of the city’s most historic and prominent Jewish congregations.

Eric is married to Dr. Jordan Scott Wise, an anesthesiologist at Mount Sinai in New York City. Together, Eric and Jordan divide their time between New York City, the Hamptons, Florida, and Colorado.

His work and involvement reflect an enduring commitment to supporting the institutions and causes that advance education, preserve cultural heritage, champion the arts, and create meaningful social impact.
